If you’re like me, you love to buy books. You like reading them too, but sometimes you get distracted. You try to read consistently, go one book at a time, and do it because you want to, not because you should (but you still fall off after a while). You take pride in having multiple genres to pick from - classics, political science, even books from your childhood. Your personal library may have more books on the “To Read” than the “Have Read” list, but we’ll balance it out eventually. You are a literature analyst and enthusiast, and I am too.

If you’re like me, ever since you could hold a pencil, you’ve had a story you’ve wanted to tell. You are still determined to tell that story, even though you’ve started/edited/scrapped it too many times to count. You’re like Harper Stewart from The Best Man, taking your life experience and plotting it on the page (despite the consequences it may cause). We may write different genres, but we’ll eagerly workshop a piece just the same. You are a language leader, handled by the head & hand, and I am too.

If you’re like me, you value education highly. You were always in the honors/AP classes and school was “easy” for you. You originally enjoyed school as a whole, but as you aged, the charade of it all drained your enthusiasm for learning and your inner Holden Caulfield was born. You were told college was your Golden Ticket, but feel like just another Oompa Loompa in the factory. You’re genuinely fearful for the next generation, due to their digital dispositions and the diabolical censorship of academics. You are a keeper of knowledge and education enthusiast, and I am too.

If you’re like me, you’ve got a lot of fight in you, but you want to direct that energy effectively. You feel overwhelmed by the amount of change you wish to see in the world, and therefore all the changes you must make in yourself to begin that ripple effect. You recognize civics is a critical subject, which teaches you how to be a citizen, with civil responsibilities and rights. You want to live a life of purpose, and most of it will include acts of community service. You are a concerned citizen and aim to be a community caretaker, and I am/do too.

If you’re like me, you love love loveee. You were delulu before it was popular, because embracing the potential is so much more fun than reality. You have parent wounds that are peeking from behind their band-aids, and they sting like hell to heal. You are deeply curious about how others live their life, and you hope to be the charismatic character in theirs as much as yours. Your personal values & belief system may constantly shift, and therefore you often feel distanced from yourself, but you know your soul is bountiful. You are a lover of whimsy, beauty, and charm, and I am too.
