This is a platform similar to Patreon, where creatives can receive support directly from their audience, so I’m using this to target my local community as I continue to build connections and work on projects that aren’t necessarily relevant to blk|alt. This blog aims to bridge into a business brick-and-mortar, whereas the BMaC is like my Kool-Aid stand.
Substack Story Starter
I used to be a Wattpad girly, and part of me still dreams of winning the Watty Awards so I can turn this brilliant brainchild of mine into an animated series. It’ll happen regardless one day, and since I’ve A) already subscribed to folks and B) continue to have this platform suggested to me, I figured I could upload a few chapters and see how I feel/grow from there.
